Nice museum but rude and unprofessional staff. We arrived at just after 5pm, the website said that it was open until 6. We were told that the museum was closed already but the garden was open until 5:30 (no reduction in price). The café was also closed despite supposedly being open until 6. Our friends decided to go into the garden but my wife and I decided not to because we'd already been here. So we waited outside near the ticket office for a few minutes, then my wife wanted to find somewhere more comfortable to wait. A few minutes later the woman from the ticket office came out demanding to know where my wife had gone, saying that if she'd gone into the garden she'd have to pay. I said that our friends went into the garden but not my wife, and I wasn't sure where she was, but that she'd gone outside the complex. But she clearly didn't believe me so she called security to look for my wife. After a few more minutes she came out again and told me I'd have to pay for my wife's visit. Then the security guard came back and told her that she was indeed outside the complex and had not gone into the garden. The woman did curtly apologize but the whole experience was unpleasant and unprofessional.

EDIT: I wrote this review before we returned to the cars and discovered the flat tyre. They were indeed quite helpful but that does not change the rudeness earlier. And I was not expecting special treatment or to get in free; I was objecting to being accused of trying to cheat them and not being believed when I told them that we were...

Wow! Absolutely incredible! I can't even describe how much I loved this place. I wish we'd arrived earlier because I could have easily spent an entire day here wandering the beautiful gardens and the galleries. If you're wondering whether to pay the extra and take the tour of the house....DO! It is truly one of the most magnificent spaces I've ever found myself in. The couple who owned the house and collected all the art/artefacts are people after my own heart and I found myself wanting to just move in. The guide was fantastic, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the art on display, and we spent at least an hour inside the house. I just didn't know where to look. There was so much to see. The only problem we had was actually getting there. Some taxi drivers evidently don't want to go there, and we were ejected from the first one we tried as soon as we showed the address. The last part of the road leading to the museum is a gravel track and very narrow, so maybe the bigger mini bus type taxis would have a problem. I recommend you use the Mallorcab app, and then you can put in where you're going first, and a willing driver will accept the journey. If you're hiking types like us, the walk back from the museum to the port is spectacularly beautiful and gave us the idea for our next days walk up over the hills. 100 percent recommend you see this museum. It should be listed as the number 1 thing to...

A Hidden Gem Within Sa Bassa Blanca Museum 🌟

Having lunch at La Paloma is a truly memorable experience, thanks in large part to the impeccable professionalism and genuine warmth of the entire staff—both at the museum and the restaurant. Their attentive, thoughtful service perfectly reflects the museum’s spirit, making every guest feel truly welcomed.

The ingredients are fresh and carefully sourced, and the Mediterranean dishes are beautifully presented, balanced, and full of flavor without being overdone. The excellent quality-to-price ratio stands out, offering gourmet food and attentive service at honest, accessible prices.

Whether for a light lunch or a leisurely meal after exploring the museum, La Paloma complements the cultural experience perfectly. Highly recommended for a culinary delight that nourishes both...

Wow, MSBB is a hidden gem that’ll leave you speechless! Tucked away in Alcúdia’s stunning landscape, this place is a vibrant blend of art, nature, and architecture. The sculpture park alone is worth the trip—quirky, thought-provoking pieces scattered across lush gardens. The Nins collection, with its centuries-old portraits of children, feels like stepping into a time machine. For €10, you get the park and galleries, but splurge on the €38 full tour with Casa Hassan Fathy it’s a masterpiece of Moorish design! Arrive early to dodge crowds, and don’t skip the rose garden for a serene moment. Did you know the museum’s building was crafted by Hassan Fathy, the legendary “architect of the poor”? Bring comfy shoes for exploring, and book online to save time. You’ll leave inspired

Such a wonderfully curated museum that celebrates the connectivity of humankind, and that in a most wonderful setting, being both the House and the Gardens. Ester, our guide for the House, was sublime. She gave a very inspiring tour and we were both captivated by her and the Museu. Huge congratulations to the Foundation and the Museu staff for doing such a great job. The food at the restaurant was great too. We went there twice! We will be back for sure. My only regret was forgetting to go back to the Shop to buy a book and something else… Amazing, amazing, amazing!
