Arcos Gardens Golf Club — Attraction in Arcos de la Frontera

We booked a quad room at this hotel. The surrounding is nice as it is away from the town. The place is safe as there is security guard at entrance to the property.||On first look, the room is really spacious and was interesting decorated with old wood cabinets and pots/pans. ||It was very spacious with the 2 bedrooms cum bathroom at each end of the room. The center portion was the living room and dining area. ||However, I feel that the hotel room should be updated for the following to make it more comfortable. |- better Wi-Fi connection as signal was so weak that we have to go to the reception area to use our devices. Even logging in for the secured network, it only improved a little. |- the aircon was not working in one of the rooms. Hence, have to open window for ventilation, which attracted mosquitoes into the room. |- the water heater didn’t provide hot enough water as the temperature was only lukewarm. |- this is the first time that I didn’t even get a kettle in the room for boiling hot water. Hence, it would be nice to provide a kettle. According to my booking, supposed to have a microwave too, but I guess, not applicable to all the rooms in this hotel. So do check first. Maybe it is because you can have room service as the restaurant is just next to it. ||Hope that the property can take into consideration the feedback and make...

Alquilamos una villa del 9 al 16 de agosto para toda la familia. Lo hemos hecho en muchas ocasiones y siempre muy bien y los niños disfrutan mucho de la piscina en pleno agosto. Esta vez el comienzo fue fatal. Llegamos sobre las 4 menos cuarto. El check-in es a partir de las 15.00h. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba correctamente (estabamos a mas de 40 grados), en uno de los dormitorios no funcionaba en absoluto. La piscina mal y sucia no, lo siguiente. Uno de los dormitorios sin cortinas, la villa sucia, el tostador era una masa negra, la barbacoa sin bombona, la tv del salón sin señal.....en fin, un desastre. Avisamos a recepción porque la verdad que no nos había pasado nunca y vinieron las chicas y pudieron comprobar el mal estado de todo. Ese día no pudieron hacer nada y al dia siguiente vinieron a arreglar algunas cosas. A mediodia el chico de mantenimiento estuvo arreglando la piscina por mas de 3 horas. Terminaba su turno a las 4 y se fue a las 5 y algo, y aun asi la piscina no estaba al 100% (según sus propias palabras). Vino a vernos la “subgerente” a la que le dimos las quejas y mostramos los desperfectos y le pedimos el reembolso de la primera noche en la q no pudimos hacer uso ni de la piscina, ni de la tv, ni del aire acondicionado, no de la barbacoa....Nos lo denegaron y ofrecieron una botella de vino y un late check-out. Las cortinas del dormitorio las pusieron a la 4 noche de estar alli. Muy mala gestión por parte de la gerencia que no tuvo en cuenta las quejas muy fundamentadas de unos clientes que estaban fidelizados y que pagaban mas de 350€ por noche y no les ofrecieron las cosas en...
