El Tren de l'Oreneta is a fantastic experience, especially for little ones who love trains! Nestled in a beautiful park surrounded by nature, this miniature train ride is the perfect addition to a day of outdoor fun. The park itself offers plenty of trails, open spaces, and playgrounds, making it a great spot for families to explore and enjoy.

A few tips: If you're driving, parking can be tricky, so it's best to arrive early. If you're taking a taxi, be prepared to order a Cabify or Uber for your return trip. And for the train ride, bring cash to make things easier.

A must-visit for families...

So Barcelona has this miniature steam railway that's only open on Sunday mornings, that doesn't appear in any of the tourist literature I've seen. I've been here 6 years and only just found out about the place. It's set in a lovely park with great adventure playgrounds for smaller people ;) set back behind the ring road at the bottom of Collserola above Pedralbes. Great views over the city and some lovely walks through the forest - and this volunteer-run (I believe) miniature train track offering rides to the public....
