Let me tell you about my recent experience at the Mariposario de Benalmádena-Butterfly Park, and boy was I in for a surprise! I was more or less dragged through the door, kicking and screaming like a child, because honestly, who goes to a butterfly park voluntarily? But let me tell you, I was shocked to find myself absolutely loving it!
The butterflies were fluttering around, doing their butterfly thing, and I was just standing there, mouth agape, completely baffled by these creatures. I couldn't believe that something so small and delicate could be so mesmerizing. It was like a scene out of a Disney movie!
I must admit that I got a little carried away with my love for the butterflies. I was running around chasing them like a madman, trying to catch them with my bare hands. I was so caught up in the moment that I almost had to be escorted out by security. But hey, can you blame me? I am a butterfly believer from now on!
In conclusion, the Mariposario de Benalmádena-Butterfly Park was an unexpected surprise, and I can't recommend it enough. Who knew that something as simple as butterflies could bring so much joy and wonderment? I may have been dragged through the door, but I left skipping and jumping like a child. Thank you, Mariposario de Benalmádena-Butterfly Park, for a truly magical experience!
Keep in mind, it was a joke about trying to catch the butterflies, at no point did we ever touch the butterflies, and it’s important to never attempt to touch any of their creatures, as you can injure them...

Read moreVisited today with my wife and young daughters. Note there is no parking at the venue but road parking an available near by. We went to book in advance, on the day but the website states you have to wait 1 hour before you can enter so we just purchased our tickets on site. Overall it’s was very clean and tidy with a small gift shop and on site cafe. Once inside the main area it’s simply amazing, lots of butterflies and some birds flying around. My girls absolutely loved it and even had some butterflies land on them and stay for a while. It appears all the creatures are well looked after and you can get up close with many of them. The turtles and fish pond are a nice touch. You have to watch where you walk as butterflies just stop on the paths. Lots of information to read. The girls had a spot the butterfly quiz provided by the venue which was a bit of fun. I think we were there for approximately 45 mins to 1 hour max. Worth a visit if you are...
