Nirvana Indian – A Hidden Gem in Benalmádena for True Indian Cuisine Lovers
Tucked away in a cozy little corner of Benalmádena, surrounded by a few other restaurants and just a short walk from where we’re staying, Nirvana Indian came highly recommended — and it absolutely lived up to it.
At first, the waiter — who also appears to be the owner — might seem a bit reserved. He doesn’t offer much small talk or smiling service, and initially, his attitude can come off as a little distant. But give it a moment. You quickly realize it’s simply his style — understated, with a subtle glint in his eye that reveals more warmth than first meets the eye.
The restaurant itself is simple, welcoming, and unfussy — not trying to be fancy, but all the more charming for it. Service is prompt and efficient: orders are taken quickly, and both drinks and dishes arrive in good time.
And the food? Absolutely fantastic. Every dish bursts with rich, authentic flavors that taste like they’ve come straight from a home kitchen in India. If you truly love Indian cuisine — not just generic curry house fare, but the real thing — Nirvana Indian is a must-visit.
There are free parking spaces just outside if you’re lucky enough to find one, though in the evenings it usually isn’t a problem.
We’ll definitely be returning. A wholehearted...

The angry waiter said that we can’t just say the number of the dishes (as we found them on internet) bc they change them a lot. So we found out the name of the dishes and we placed the order. Once I was in the restaurant to pick it up I also took a physical menu. They obviously also change the prices without telling us… overpriced food for a little quantity. Way to spicy (unenjoyable veggie food even though we asked for medium spicy as I always do in Indian restaurants and it’s always good. Not a recommended nor a repeatable experience. Big dislike for the rudeness, of he price change and the spicy food. Never again. If they were nice and the price had been adequate to the menu, I wouldn’t had placed...
Read moreCamarero Absolutamente descortés y grosero. Paso a relatar mi experiencia.
Me extraña.
