The beach itself is superb, but there is no lifeguard service, and no equipment to rescue people. During windy weather, the current is very strong, swimming is very dangerous, but no warning signs present. Last week my friend needed to risk his life to save an old lady from the waves, and the police sent no boat to rescue, the bar in the beach had no life vests, nor ropes. Not even a proper first aid kit. My hand was deeply cut during the rescue of the old lady, but they have no bandages at all. Response of the authorities was very poor. A free public lagoon type of sand beach. Easily approachable by car, some free parking spots as well on the roadside. Really liked the sand as it was not too fine, therefore didnt get everywhere. There was a lot of dead algae in the water, also a big pile of dried washed out algae on one side of the beach (mid April).
