Avoid this course if you are visiting Mallorca. There are plenty of other courses that respect the green fee guests.
Went down last weekend to celebrate my 50th birthday by inviting some friends for a weekend in Mallorca.
Booked green fees three months ago and also informed them that we had a special weekend that we were looking forward to.
I had contact with the course for a couple of other details when booking and everything was in order.
The plan was to have a nice and quiet day at the course with a light lunch before and dinner after.
When we arrived, we instead learned that T Golf Calvia offered us the following experience.
The restaurant was closed due to a competition, no lunch.
Tee time was delayed by over an hour.
We had to argue with the staff to get some food when we had played more than nine holes.
After the round, the restaurant was closed because the competition delayed our tee time/competition.
Have expressed my opinions to the management but they show no understanding of our experience.
The course was nice but everything else was a disaster and absolutely no service recovery from the management.
I would say that I have booked and been on many golf trips in different countries over the years. Have never experienced anything like it and would not have received the experience again if it was free.

Read moreToday I played T Club Calvià is without doubt one of the most beautiful and well-kept courses I’ve ever played. Tee boxes and fairways were pristine, and the views are simply breathtaking — worth the trip alone. The clubhouse feels like walking into a 5-star hotel lobby, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The greens were a bit marked up with pitch marks, but nothing that spoiled the round too much.
The real disappointment came from the rental equipment. The irons provided were regular graphite, which didn’t suit my game, and the grips were very worn and slippery. Also, I had to purchase a glove, but the only option was their own-brand, which was very expensive for the poor quality. The glove was stiff leather with no real grip, and after struggling through three holes with clubs slipping in my hands, I gave up on it entirely. From hole 4 onward I played bare-handed, which was extremely uncomfortable for the rest of the round. It really took away from what could have been a truly world-class golfing experience.
I would love the chance to play this course again before returning home, but given the cost it's unlikely, as I worry about having a similar experience with the...
Read moreBeautiful course in stunning surroundings. Me and playing partner had an 8.10 tee time so missed hotel breakfast so assumed there would be an option to buy snacks and water on arrival. This was not the case. There was no water dispenser either and it was 34degC. We were advised there is a halfway house/snack bar open on 9th and somebody selling drinks throughout day. This did not happen unfortunately so we had to go back to clubhouse for water and lose our place. Very disappointing along with having to pay for balls to warm up but this doesn’t warrant giving any less than 5 stars. A water tap/fountain at half way point would be a wise addition as charging for water in this day and age is not acceptable. Factor the cost into the tee price and make it “free”. Loved the course. No complaints. Deceiving greens which are very well kept and difficult! Would definitely return but please sort the hydration...
