I went to Carmona with a friend, who lives in Sevilla and really likes "Puerto de Indias 🍓".

We did the tour on Tuesday morning; it was brilliant! It was just the two of us (it felt like a private tour), Benjamin (our host for the day) was great and very knowledgeable!! We learnt so much about the gin and its history. Tip: If you want to do the tour, and you are around on a week day, I would highly recommend to do it then, (weekends are much busier).

The tasting was very good, we learned how to do it properly, what to look for and how to make a the best "Copa"🍹.

It was the first time I tasted any Puerto de Indias. Loved it! - I bought a "Puerto de Indias Lemonberry" at the airport - soooooo nice! Not sure how long the bottle would last; I might have to go to visit my...

This distillery only started giving public tours three months ago after undergoing extensive renovations and refurbishments to the property. Rocio gave us an excellent 2 hour tour in English finished off with a great tasting of a selection of delicious Puerto gins. No sales pressure at all, just an enjoyment of sharing her passion for the Puerto product. Carmona is a great town with a rich Roman history which is brought to life when visiting the Distillery and viewing the original Roman aquifer which still provides fresh spring water for the distilling process. Tours are offered thru pre- booking only via the web site (ginpuertodeindias.com).

Safe travels...

Had a wonderful gin tasting experience. The tour was very interesting and the guide very informative and helpful with any questions. The tasting was really fun too with lots of options. In fact I’m not even a fan of gin (as it was a gift for a friend) but now I am a huge fan of a particular flavour. It was really easygoing and felt like we were there with friends. Even got a chance to make a gin behind the bar with a mixer which was a highlight. All the staff were super friendly and I would highly recommend for a day out.
