Absolutely spectacular views of the surrounding mountains, the damn, river, falls and the sea and pretty towns.

Free parking, if you're lucky enough to catch one. In August it was busy, but people come and go quite quickly.

There are a couple of options to view from. Many people went to the top, where you have to climb over the smooth rocks. Not suitable for those with physical difficulties, or young children as there are no barriers or fall protectors.

The other viewpoints are suitable for all visitors, including those in wheelchairs and with prams.

At the bottom, there is an amazing walkway where you can see the waterfalls and the pool at its base.

There's also possiblity to book a canoe trip if it's your thing, where you can go out with the group in your own canoe. There are shop stalls and places to buy...

Beautiful stop on bus trip from Santiago to Fisterra, Spain. It quite a scenic spot with a short walk to the falls that empty the Xallas River into the Atlantic Ocean. There is a mini market set up and some snack stands. I saw some others going out for a kayaking trip from here. This is a lovely trip and you can arrange to be on a bus where the guide speaks English or multiple languages. The bus made multiple stops in small towns to and...

We went past here from Finisterre to Santiago dC hoping for an amazing attraction. It's a nice waterfall, surrounded by tourist rubbish. Worth a look of course, I liked the rocks all around it better. If you leave here and head immediately right, to the mirador (that's quite a good view), but continue to the damn, that's a great road to drive. That was my favourite part
