A wonderful short hike with absolutely spectacular views. The path is very well maintained and a very pleasant walk (I wouldn't even call it a hike). During the spring and early summer there are lots of Tajinaste. The ones on La Palma are more purple than the ones on Tenerife- but attract just as many honeybees. The parking lot is pretty small, so that's something to be aware of. That said, every time we've been here we were able to find parking. Highly recommend a visit if you enjoy nature and...

It is a must see and visit when you are on La Palma. The nature, the caldera with its stunning high pine tree line the view to see all the other three isles in its close vicinity is nothing close to spectacular/outstanding. One can drive up to a parking lot but to fully grasp the beauty of this spot a little hike to the furthest mirador is highly recommended.
