This was such a nice cove, you go there, park on the hill, enjoy your day with freiends and Family, have a nice drink at the bar.. Now the authorities have made it so that you can‘t park at the beach anymore and put a hefty price on parking in a designated area. You'll have to walk the insanely steep hill all the way down and back up to the top by foot. Also they removed the cool little bar hut that was there so you have no Option to get any drinks, if you're thirsty and did not bring enough water that‘s a problem, so bring enough drinks! Also they put a price on using a beach and if you just come, like any year before, and you have no reservation, you can be sent away, so please reservate before coming here!
making a visit to this cove without being fully prepared can quickly become a miserable experience, this is very sad because the place is actually beautyful but the local authorities really...
Read moreAfter I read the comments, I was expecting a steep hill with a difficult path that required good hiking shoes. In reality, there is a paved road that goes from the parking lot to the beach. Sandals would be uncomfortable to use on the way up, but if you have no choice, it will not be terrible. There was literally someone in a wheelchair that was pushed up and down without much difficulty. The beach itself has patches of sand mixed with small pebbles. If you have sensitive feet like me, expect it to be similar to walking on legos. There was a bit of an undertow, but it did not feel dangerous. We went snorkling and saw a lot of fish and an eel. Do not go snorkeling inside the cave (it’s forbidden and dangerous). This beach was definitely worth renting a car and driving up from Alicante. Try to time your trip with a sunny day in order to see it in...
Read moreSuper Beautiful view from the top. Beautiful beach, color of the water is even more beautiful than the picture!
It's a stone beach, (so if you are not use to bring water shoes to enter the water) fresh water for a great swim, caves around if you have a kayak to explore. I saw ppl snorkeling, I won't be surprised to see some fishes around, next time I will do.
There is a parking but it's not free. They charge 12€ for the day 9am to 21pm. No option to pay for few hours only, so if you go it's good to spend the day there, beach, picnic & a beautiful trekking to do! No restaurant or shops around it's a natural area (love it!)
I really really loved this beach and my time there.
Maybe avoid flip flop if you plan to go on the cave rocks side ( there is possibility to reach a cave buy walk but stone are really slippery, trust me !...
