Great views! However it's hard to get to and to get in you have to go through a small doorway, climbing over the metal door which is broken and knocked over, and all the ruble. Then once inside there is quite a big hole to avoid falling into as it would be difficult/ impossible to get out by yourself. A spiraling staircase brings you to the top of the tower, where you'll be able to appreciate the view. Yet again there is another hole to avoid falling down from the top of the tower to the bottom. Amazing, this deserves an official status with an info board and a marked access route. The tower is in a great condition, you can easily get to the roof level with amazing views of Maó / La Mola / Illa de la Quarantena. There are salt pans dug into the flat parts of the shoreline east/southeast of the tower and a small spherical building visible from the tower, which are both worth...

Historical place with classic views. The road leading to the place is a off road but is to drive on, there is a parking with space for 4- 7 cars. From the car park it is a 10 min walk to the fort and some beautiful views of the sea shore/port.

Amazing, this deserves an official status with an info board and a marked access route. The tower is in a great condition, you can easily get to the roof level with amazing views of Maó / La Mola / Illa de la Quarantena. There are salt pans dug into the flat parts of the shoreline east/southeast of the tower and a small spherical building visible from the tower, which are both worth a short hike.

Worth a visit but access via Cami de Cavalls from Cala San Esteve is not indicated! Views from this military defense tower built by the brits in the 18th C. over the entrance of Mahon port.
