Vall D'or Golf — Attraction in Felanitx

We joined an intensive beginner’s course at Golfclub Val d’Or with Antonio – and we can hardly put into words how happy we are. Antonio is an outstanding golf teacher who taught us the game with patience, clarity, and enthusiasm. Thanks to him, we not only learned the basics but also discovered our passion for golf – and now we want to continue playing regularly.

The entire golf club is simply wonderful: the course is beautifully designed and perfectly maintained, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the restaurant is excellent. The service is attentive and friendly, and the view from the terrace is absolutely breathtaking.

Beautiful location and wonderful layout but I would avoid this club - we went and asked about the state of the greens and were told they were perfect. We came the next day and found out that all the greens had been aerified. When we mentioned this at the end of the round no apologies or even discounts were given. Full price charged. Also, no 9-hole fees are offered and no off-peak fees (e.g. hot hours) either. Very unusual given that other clubs all seem to offer this. Driving range is outdated and offers no possibility to practice on grass and small chipping and...

Staff couldn’t be nicer. Absolutely delightful and very accommodating. Course well maintained and great buggies and rental clubs. Only problem last time was with the people after us who teed off early so were on our backs for the whole first nine. Frankly just rude, we all deserve to enjoy our round, even when people are a little slow, say with a youngster struggling under pressure (not us btw!) give them some space, don’t stand on the tee with your hands on your hips or should I say more accurately….
