This place has also been reported as Cueva de las Cabras. You can enjoy very scenic and peculiar views over Playa de Famara from this cave situated right inside the Famara cliff wall. You can reach them from the footpath along the top of the cliff. It’s about 5 minutes walking southwards from the mirador El Bosquecillo. However the entrance is not easily visible from the footpath: you’ll have to walk very close to the cliff edge and maybe use Google Maps to check your position. The entrance seems just a drop along the cliff among a few rocks. But if you look closely, you will find some steps and a sort of path leading you to the cave along the cliff wall. The path is always quite protected and it is far more safe than it looks from the top. There are a few quite tall steps, so you’ll have to hold onto rocks with your hands and maybe sit down to descend. But even so, you are hardly ever at risk of falling down the cliff, just pay attention not to slip and hurt yourself against a rock. The effort...

The Cueva de las Cabras (Cave of the Goats) is a little-known natural cave located in the Risco de Famara region of Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands, Spain. It is named for its historical association with goats, which were traditionally herded in the area and sometimes sheltered in the cave.

The cave is part of the rugged and remote terrain of the Chinijo Archipelago Natural Park, known for its dramatic cliffs, unique geology, and panoramic views. While not a major tourist attraction, it is a point of interest for hikers and adventurers exploring the Risco de Famara. The surrounding area offers opportunities to experience Lanzarote’s volcanic landscapes, with trails that lead to stunning vistas of the Atlantic Ocean and the nearby islands.

If you plan to visit, proper hiking gear and local guidance are recommended due to the challenging terrain and...

Beautiful hike up the mountain (it is, technically a mountain) from the beach to the top. A little strenuous in places, with some steepish bits. Some scrambling over rocks and a little slippy on the gravel. A solid 2.5 hour walk up and back with a cracking view from the observation point at the top. Don't just stop on the Famara side. Walk 5 mins across to the other side of the cliffs for another...

#lanzarote #visitlanzarote #lanzarote🌵 #sunset #sunsetlovers #canarias #canaryislands #spain #reelsvideo #reelsoftheday #travel #travelinspiration #travelgirl #iamtb #bestdestinations #pisandocontinentes
