Der Strand von Hermigua bietet eine interessante Kulisse mit dem Meer vorne und im Hintergrund der Bananenplantage. Am Strand findet man dunklen Sand, große abgerundete Steine und Felsen. Im Rücken des Strandes erstrecken sich Industriebauten, die einst für den Bananenversand genutzt wurden. Bei gutem Wetter kann man sogar den Teide auf Teneriffa sehen.

Como playa para el baño, no es la más adecuada. Carece de arena y el oleaje suele ser fuerte por lo que es mejor pasear por ella que bañarse. Muy cerca junto a los restos de un antiguo puerto, hay unas piscinas de mar que pueden darse un chapuzón sin problemas.

Der Strand von Hermigua ist als interessantes Fotomotiv geeignet, zum Schwimmen eher nicht. Am Strand sind dunkler Sand und große abgerundete Steine und Felsen. Dahinter Industriebauten der ehemaligen Bananenverschiffung. Da gibt es wesentlich schönere Strände.
