Visiting the Jerez circuit (now named Circuito de Jerez Angel Nieto) for the 2019 MotoGP weekend. I found there was no public transport to the circuit for the Friday practice so no option but to use a taxi at 22 euro each way from Jerez centre. Coaches available for Saturday & Sunday from Plaza Augustias bus stop. Cost 1.10euro so a bargin. Drop off very near the main entrances. Entrance in to circuit ok at the main entrance after bag search & ticket scan. Some merchandise stalls inside the circuit but many just outside the main entrance. Quite a few food halls outside the main entrance although I took my own food...the food did look good & seemed popular with the locals. You can walk round a lot of the circuit but it's not tarmaced & your walking on a stoney clay soil. Beer, soft drinks & light food available around the circuit. 330ml can of beer was 3 euro. I sat in J4 stand and was happy with my view of the circuit (see photos) & had a large tv screen in front of the stand. Only annoying thing for me was the very loud music played between the circuit action. Note that there is not much shade available ( no stands have cover) & it's very hot this time of year. Update on coach transport..I checked with Tourist Info office in Jerez & was correctly informed that Saturday coaches to the circuit commenced at 9.00am and Sunday coaches would be 7.00am start. I caught the coaches to the circuit at these times & it was only about a 20min journey as police direct coaches straight through on otherwise closed roads. The return journey was just as simple..on race day Sunday there were about 10 coaches waiting straight after racing. I imagine if you miss this round of coaches you'll have an hour wait for them to return to...

Read moreWent to see Euroformula, GP3 and F2 2017. 3 day ticket.. parking and paddock.. 45 euros. Nice and cheap. We could roam where we wanted with paddock pass and saw most of the drivers. Friday there was just one place to get drinks and food, however Saturday and Sunday more food tents appeared. Merchandising was only Jerez circuit and old motor GP stuff. Nothing from THE GP3 or F2 teams. Grandstands were quite empty so I guess it wasn't a big event for them. Lack of information or timing boards for the races so used Internet for live timing. No big screens either. Saying all this.. a great 3 days at a fantastic price. My advice.. take drinks and sandwiches and umbrella for shade if sunny as there's no shade in the grandstands. I...
