It’s a beautiful place on Fuerteventura island. Definitely worth to visit. A former military headquarter and official civil office. Built approx. A.D 1740. The building had a defensive character. There are 4 small, not tall military towers at the corners of the building. A private house of Fuerteventura governors as well as. The Colonels’ House has two levels, 117 windows and 40 rooms inside. There were outbuildings near Casa de los Coroneles (in close proximity). Their remains are visible near side. The building has interesting interiors and furniture. There is a gift shop and coffee shop. No hassle with the car park, but I would like to advise an afternoon visit. Organized bus trips arrive in the morning. Afternoon it is a proper time for a quiet and calm enjoyable visit. I did my visit in February 2016....
