Museo del Grano "La Cilla" — Attraction in La Oliva

We really liked this small museum. It's small but very interesting if you are interested in the history of farming in Fuerteventura. The woman at the reception was really really nice. The description is in Spanish but they give you translations in different languages. Like English and German. We have our kids my mobile phone and used the camera as Google translate so they could read it in Dutch. If you're nearby I definitely recommend to go here. Or combine it with the small...

Lo primero que tengo que destacar es la amabilidad de la guía, esa mujer vale oro, hay algun que otro guia turistico que podria aprender de ella. El museo cuesta tan solo 1,50 euros porque es relativamente pequeño, pero muestra todo lo relacionado con el cultivo de cereales así como piezas originales. Al final hay una representacion de teatro creo que de casi 1 hora pero yo no la pude ver. Aprendí muchisimo porque la guia me fue contando todo minuciosamente, y eso que era yo sola. Am Standort des Kornmuseums La Cilla war früher eine Scheune als Getreidespeicher. Der "zehnte" Teil der Ernte wurde eingelagert und musste an den Grundherrn, hier die katholische Kirche, abgeführt werden. Im heutigen Museum, für geschichtsinteressierte Besucher empfehlenswert, werden landwirtschaftliche Gerätschaften ausgestellt. Sehr schön werden Erklärungen über die Ackerbautechnik auf Fuerteventura beschrieben. Interessante historische Fotos werden gezeigt, auch was die Wasserrechte betrifft.
