Mirador de el Alto de Guamaso — Attraction in La Orotava

Alto de Guamoso is a volcanic Crater. It is not known when specifically it appeared. There is a free and easily accessible parking here. From the parking these is a nice hiking trail 2.5km long and only about 30m elevation. Took us 40 minutes. Very family friendly. Fantastic easy walk with kids around a small volcano. Less than 1 hour, no big climbs. The real surprise comes at the other side of the volcano. Great views with blanket of clowds below. Great view on pico del teide. Park car at the mirador and pass the steal...
