Siete Cañadas — Attraction in Los Realejos

There is a really nice 8km circular hiking trail which starts here. It has 280m of elevation. It's very easy and family friendly. You will not notice the elevation at all and there are no dangerous or difficult parts. You get to see very interesting local volcanic nature. Some dark volcanic sands, as well as some nice views of Teide and the valley around it. We did this hike/walk in 2 hours. Definitely recommend...

Staff at the information center was very helpful, we planned our walk trip around, which was very beautiful. Hiking paths are easy to navigate. Toilets are clean. The tourist center itself is kind of old. It would be nice if it had some update (although we learned a lot...

Una camminata stupenda nell'altopiano sotto al vulcano. Dal giardino botanico partono una serie di percorsi, abbastanza pianeggianti, che attraversano un paesaggio desertico ma molto suggestivo. Si avvicendano diverse, magnifiche vedute sul Teide. C'è un parcheggio gratuito, consiglio un giorno infrasettimanale per trovare posto. Ci vuole un po' per raggiungere questa zona, ma volendo ci sono anche bus pubblici e privati. Vale la pena di fermarsi nei "punti picnic" che si trovano strada facendo, nel bosco stupendo che circonda la strada asfaltata. Una gita imprescindibile per chi vuole visitare il Teide senza raggiungere la cima (dove il clima è più rigido e si paga un biglietto). Portare...
