El Jardí de Peter — Attraction in la Pobla de Benifassà

Loved this place. Can easily wander around it for 1 hour +. Staying in ALCOSSEBRE this is 1hour 20 minute drive. WORTH IT. Not for those needing assistance in getting about and not especially safe for little ones. However, it’s a feast for the eyes and much more impressive than the photos on Google would suggest. What we didn’t expect was the views on the way. A very twisty bendy road, but breathtaking views and the dam nearby is a lovely place to stop off to grab a snack or drink from the hotel beside it. Brilliant day out. Price is from 3.50€ /person. A little additional is appreciated. CASH ONLY. Do a bathroom stop before going.

Loved Peter’s garden though we had to abandon the pushchair near the entrance and carry the little one around with us. Hadn’t realised before we went that it isn’t really suitable for small children or prams. That however was our fault and it didn’t detract from us having a wonderful time. A magical mix of art and nature. I could not recommend this place more. Perfect plan for the end of the afternoon, but keep at least a couple of hours to really enjoy it, and to talk with Peter!
