👎 If a museum does not offer any discount for people with disabilities and their companions… This is not merely a pricing decision — it reflects a deeper lack of social awareness and human responsibility.
People with disabilities may not necessarily need the discount financially, but the point is not about need — it’s about respect, dignity, and inclusion.
Having ramps or elevators is not a favor — it’s simply the basic standard that any modern institution should meet. True inclusion is not measured by physical structures, but by attitude, behavior, and the respect shown to the most vulnerable members of society.
Unfortunately, during our visit, every staff member we encountered acted in a way that was disrespectful and lacking empathy toward people with disabilities and their families. This is entirely unacceptable. Your team must be urgently trained, or if that’s not possible, replaced by individuals who understand what it truly means to serve all people with dignity.
As a mother, I say this from the heart: This approach toward disability must be reviewed and corrected as soon as possible. Not out of pity, but out of justice and human decency.
That a museum bearing the name of such a great figure as Alonso, a man who has conquered the most difficult race tracks in the world, would fail a simple test of humanity — is a painful contradiction and a deep disappointment.
Let us not forget: People with disabilities are the angels of our society. Without them, what kind of humanity would remain? There’s no need to even explain it.
A museum that does not know how to treat the most fragile today is unlikely to be remembered as a true...
Read moreThe Alonso Museum was the cherry on top of our trip! My 10-year-old son, who is a karting pilot, absolutely LOVED this place and was super excited to see Senna's car. His enthusiasm was contagious!
For motorsport fans, this museum is an absolute must-visit. The collection is incredible and you can really feel the passion and history of Formula 1. The staff are true professionals - knowledgeable and friendly, clearly passionate about what they do.
One of the best parts was that it wasn't overcrowded, so we could take our time exploring and really appreciate everything without feeling rushed. My son had space to get up close to the exhibits and ask lots of questions.
And can we talk about the souvenir shop? It's fantastic! They have genuine team merchandise and you can actually get official team kits. We may have gone a little overboard with purchases, but the quality and selection were too good to pass up.
If you're traveling with young racing enthusiasts or are a motorsport fan yourself, don't miss this gem. It's educational, inspiring, and genuinely exciting for all ages. And don’t forget to get an...
Read moreWhat an incredible museum, and not just for Alonso fans!
This provides an extremely rare opportunity to see Formula 1 evolution up close, with the curators (presumably, Alonso, himself) recognizing the opportunity to put the 2007 McLaren next to the 2018 McLaren. Beyond the comparison, the chance to see the aero details on, for example, that early McLaren, up close, is awesome.
The lineup of Alonso's 4 successive Ferrari F1 racers, the WEC championship-winning Toyota prototype, the collection of karts, going back to the very first built by his father for the young Fernando, all give a highly-unusual look at the evolution of a historically talented driver.
My wife found the trophies and memorabilia particularly engrossing, and (between the two of us) we have a comprehensive documentation of a most...
