Dolphins in captivity are forced to endure endless cruelty. Dolphins are: deprived of food as part of the training process for performing. forced to breed and then traumatically separated from their calves at a very young age. Do research and stop supporting captivity of animals in zoos and places as such. Food deprivation is used in regular basis and built into animal training programs that rely on operant conditioning. Instead they use phrases and words like “positive reinforcement" which in fact is food deprivation.
Dolphins and sea creatures belong to sea, not cramped artificial concrete and glass tanks to swim around circles deprived of everything that's natural and important to them and slowly go crazy.
I am surprised this is still allowed in Europe!! Follow foodsteps of Berlin for example completely making this illegal. Cruel and complete money making in the expense of exploiting the beautiful and intelligent sea creatures. Stop supporting this cruelty! Paying tickets and so called interaction and swimming with seal or any sea creatures pays for this to continue. Stop teaching children it's normal to have wild animals in captivity. It's cruel and unnatural.
Instead support animal sanctuaries, rescue centres and conversation centres to help animals that have suffered in the hands of human selfish behaviour. Animals are not entertainment or exhibition for us. Teach children these creatures...
