Our fist visit to this water park and our review is very mixed for these reasons:
COST The entrance cost was fairly cheap. The ‘but’ is once you are inside you realise why. You then have to pay for:
The locker was 5 euros. Unless you hired an inflatable ring you could only go on half of the slides. An inflatable was 4 euros. A sunbed could be hired for 3 euros. Lunch was 14 euros per person, as you had to buy a meal deal.
So, another 26 errors, doubling the original cost.
FOOD The food was surprisingly good - hot, fresh and tasty.
LIFEGUARDS There were many lifeguards around the pools, which is a good thing. My annoyance was that about every 6 seconds the whistle below. Whilst they are trying to keep us safe, if there is a need for a whistle to be blown that often then something has to change. I have never seen that at other water parks we have been to.
Plus, for some of the ‘lifeguards’ to carry sticks is mind blowing. This is a family water park and yet sticks are carried, which is not conducive to family fun. What could a person do at a water park that warrants using a stick?!
Also at the top of the slides there is only one lifeguard, so when it is busy people are left waiting for the lifeguard to tell them to go, which means that people have to wait much longer than they should. Two lifeguards are needed in the towers when it is busy.
CLEAN AND TIDY The park was very clean and tidy at all times.
HOT FLOORS I cannot help but think that someone could easily solve the floors that were like molten lava when it is hot. The rules on flip flops were not clear. You see people hopping as they try to badly navigate the hot floors when they walk between the slides. The plants offer some shade but I cannot believe that this has not been thought of better. Also, to add metal stripping to the stairs on the towers was a really silly idea as the metal becomes exceptionally hot.
LOCKERS It would be such a useful and easy thing to offer tables/benches, similar to airport security, rather than when you receive your tub the only option is to balance it on a 3” ledge to get your stuff.
MUSIC When we were eating at the beach bar the same repetitive and benign music played. Very irritating.
RULES Any fun venue that has to have 30 rules, really needs to change their approach to fun. See the...
Read moreTerrible experience, the place is one giant scam! Upon entering the park I paid for tickets at the front desk for me and my two children (3 of us all together), the staff could clearly see I was a tall large guy (6'5 120kg), at no point when entering was I told there was a weight restriction on the slides, I also don't consider myself fat I have a 16% body fat ratio which is below average! As soon as I approached the slides, the life guard insisted I weighed myself! I was over the limit and was told I could not use any of the slides. Furthermore, as my son was just under the height restriction, apparently, I had to accompany him on all the slides! I said to the life guard how can I do that when I'm not allowed to go on the slides!! Her reply was that I don't make the rules. So we ended up spending the day there, and the only person who could use the slides was my daughter, an absolute scam of a business! They should weigh you at the front door, not after you've paid. They are clearly aware that this would push away business, so don't do it.
Yes the weight limit is in their terms and conditions on their website, which is very hard to find and in very small writting, it does not state these terms and conditions on the front entrance anywhere and you're not made aware of it by any of the staff any point ehen paying whichvis totally wrong., If they say otherwise the company are lying. This is clear profiteering without any consideration for its customer base.
They also charge to rent the sun loungers and inflatables for the slides and lazy river, I found this an absolute liberty considering the price of admission..
I explained all this and was rejected any kind of refund. If this was England, I'd be reporting them to trading standards.
AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, BIGGEST SCAM IVE EXPERIENCED SINCE...
Read moreOne of the worst waterpark I've been to. Ontop of the entrance fee, you have to pay for an inflatable ring to go on the lazy river and the two slides required, you have to pay for parking and for a locker. It all adds up. There is also a weight limit on the slides which yes is fine, but they will ask you your weight and if they don't believe you, they weigh you in front of people. It's embarrassing. They asked me to remove my water shoes and when I did, I step up to go on the slide and slipped over into the slide and hurt myself. The attendant on the slide didn't ask if I was OK just told me to go down the slide. We went to the zoo and in the first enclosure was the lions and the enclosure was so small and they looked so unhappy. We couldn't bring ourselves to go any further into the zoo and left after a horrible experience in the restaurant (see separated review). It was just awful and the level of service was shocking. We even got stopped by security when trying to leave and when we said we are leaving she turned away. Unsure what...
