Nice beach, very very long ao there's always enough place near the water. There were a lot of waves so we couldn't really understand how nice the sea is. There was a lot of current though, the waves were arriving from multiple directions and there was a yellow flag so...we couldn't really enjoy the water. Moreover the parking place cost 6€, without even having seen the sea. We had to park by the restaurant, which means you have to walk about 10-15 minutes. In my opinion a cute beach, but nothing special, we saw far better beaches...

Beautiful beach, especially with the immediate surroundings of natural park of sand dunes and hills beyond. Wide and long sand beach. The smaller southern part, walkway to the right from the car park is more a nudist beach. The main part, walkway straight from the car park is general public. Very slow turning deep, so ideal for small children to swim and very little waves, if at all. Good snorkelling and SUP. If staying till close to sunset, be aware of the many aggressive mosquitoes that appear. Better to leave about an hour...

A nice and very long beach in walking distance from San José (there are paths from the old windmill, it takes about 20 mins) but reachable by car as well, or public transport in the summer season. During the high season there is a fee per car entering the road. The entrance to the sea is very shallow for about 15 to 20m from the shore. Very nice, fine and soft sand. One of very few beaches that I've seen between Cabo de Gata and San José that have vegetation around - eucalyptus grove, agaves and...

Best beach in cabo de gata. It's just amazing, when you are in the water and look to the beach you can see all the mountains in the background. If you go by car, have yo pay 6€ to park. You can go by bus from Almería Capital for 3€, just have three times per day, and be careful not to lose the last one at 8 pm.
