Maro Kayak Nerja — Attraction in Nerja

Our experience with the kayak company was not so nice. First of all the prices, they are taking 11€/ 1 hour, per person not per kayak. Some of the personal is super rude, some comments were absolutely under the waistline , especially towards young women and girls. Gross. It's not the first time we've rented kayaks, but our experience with THIS company was absolutely not good. We paid close attention to the clock and were later picked on because we supposedly arrived 10 minutes late, which was absolutely not true. There were 8 of us in total and we were so annoyed that we left these people so much money. The beach and water are great, no question, although very crowded. The small waterfall was therefore well attended and all we saw were kayaks. To get to the beach you can walk, 15-20 minutes or take a bus. However, the last bus...

Absolutely brilliant!!! We had great time on kayak and even big paddle board, great customer service, superb location, people that complain they didn't see no waterfalls came probably at end of summer, where there are no waterfalls cos water levels are very low and is getting big problem, but that's not fault af that lovely little business with great friendly people working there, plus on that Maro beach you have great chirinquito for few drinks and lovely Spanish food afterwards. Rented a paddleboard for an hour there, very easy and simple process, friendly staff. The ride around the cliffs and waterfall is magnificent! The only strange thing was that the young guy (an employee) who was giving me the paddleboard asked me out of nowhere if I was gay (twice) - which I’m not, so it felt weird and not very proffesional - but it was okay, I actually found it funny. Still, I can imagine someone else might found it upsetting...
