What a most amazing tour and tasting. We are a family of 4 including 2 small children, After a last minute decision to venture into the Rioja rejoin on our road trip, I emailed Bodegas Conde de los Andes around 7am asking if there was any possibility of joining a wine tasting/tour that day, and received an email around an hour later confirming that they would be happy to receive us around 3pm. We arrived at the arranged time after a picturesque journey and were greeted warmly by the lovely Elizabeth, it became apparent that only us 4 were on the tour with Elizabeth, who took the time to explain the history of the company, the wine and the property. We had the most brilliant couple of hours in her company, tasting some very good wines, followed by some tasty nibbles and some recommendations for restaurants and must-see things in the area during our holiday. Can't recommend this place (and Elizabeth) enough! Fully deserving of the...

As an event producer who believes in creating memorable experiences here’s a great example.

Eduardo ( A.K.A Edu) was our tour guide and went above and beyond. The wine is great and they had us at “Maga foundation was founded after the owner’s wife”. What a lovely initiative. Edu was very informative about the wine and region. Highly recommend a stop here. You will not be disappointed. We left with wine, and Edu helped us find an amazing place for us to have a delicious lunch. If you are on the fence at all about which visit to book in the Rioja region, please trust me that this experience is amazing and...

This was the coolest wine tour I’ve ever experienced, and it truly used all senses. You can see the innate craftsmanship of the cellar architecture, as well as the physical bottles resting from years past, smell the fermentation, hear the silence of the cellars 40 meters below street level, feel the humidity and coolness of the environment, and taste the end product that is a harmony of plant, soil and climate. Elizabete graciously offered this tour in English and was so detailed with sharing the winery’s history and heart, which left us feeling deeply connected to the wine and people...

The visit to the wine caves was absolutely worth it. We had great guides (Cristina and Eli) who handed us vests to make sure that we we not cold, and gave us a really interesting and personal view of the wine and the area. The wine tasting was one of the best we had in the region, with plenty of wine and good cold meats. The caves (calados) are massive, and they hold some excellent wine from the old Paternina winery. The history of the place and its atmosphere was very hard to beat during our 3 days in La Rioja.
