Playa del Viejo Reyes — Attraction in Pájara

Absolutely stunning place , we were staying at the other side of the island so only been able to see sunrise from our beaches so we decided to tak a little trip to playa del viejo reyes and it didn't disappoint. Mal ein grosses Lob für die Gemeindeverwaltung Pajara. Anfangs des Jahres wurde ein zweiter Rettungsturm angekündigt. Er steht bereits. Pajara kann gerne in diesem Tempo erfolgreich weitermachen. Allerdings wurde die Rettungssäule totem oneup an dieser Stelle entfernt, die erst vor ca. 2 Jahren errichtet worden war (vgl. meine entsprechenden Fotos). Verschrottet? Der neue Rettungsturm hat sogar eine Solarzelle auf dem Dach. Allerdings wurde nicht an einen externen Defibrillator gedacht, was m.E. wichtig ist, ich betone es erneut. Jetzt kritische Anmerkungen dazu: dieser Rettungsturm ist für Rettungsfahrzeuge nicht erreichbar, da es auf dem Plateau keine breiten befahrbaren Wege gibt und die Strecke zum Strand ein unebener sandiger Weg ist. Sprich, die Rettungsschwimmer hätten einen weiten Weg bis zum Parkplatz. Grundsätzlich sollte sich an diesem Strand niemand beim Baden in Sicherheit wiegen: dieser Strand ist und bleibt gefährlich. One of the wild and unspoilt beaches of Fuerte’s western coast. Great spot for admiring a power of the ocean in all it’s beauty. Loved it!
