Centro de Arte Juan Ismael — Attraction in Puerto del Rosario

Tried several times but didn’t get to see any of the art, as Museum was closed due to a new exhibition opening and the lady from security couldn’t provide any exact information in English nor was there an information sheet.

The first time I tried to visit, I was told to be there the following day as it as currently closed due to a new exhibition opening the day after. When I arrived in the morning of the following day, I was told the exhibition opens in the evening when the museum opens at 5pm. But when I arrived at 6pm, I was told it opens at 9pm today - I feel like they have fooled / clowned me - maybe they don’t want tourists to visit. Would have loved to check it out, but I am not trying a fourth time and plan vertyjing around a visit which will likely not happen due to...

Wasn't able to visit the museum though arrived at 1200h, one hour before closing at 1300h. The person at the entry speaks Spanish only and knew only one English word "Closed". Annoying, as we had 1hr- drive to see it, but in vane.

If you plan to visit, have somebody called for REAL opening hours in advance, but in Spanish. Maybe you ask at your hotel reception or someone else...

I was surprised how big this gallery is. The quality of the exhibition when I visited was great. The gallery is over 2 floors and at the back has great views over the sea....
