If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would! We visited Bodega Kieninger this past weekend and wow, I cannot recommend this place enough. Unfortunately, we were unable to do a full tour and wine tasting because our trip to Ronda was so last minute; however, I emailed and asked if we could stop by to purchase some wine. When we arrived at the bodega we were greeted by Araceli. Although she was finishing up another tour group and tasting, she set us up at a small table outside with a beautiful view and allowed us to sample almost all of the wines (as they were already open from the current tasting) and even searched for some other bottles for us to try! Araceli went out of her way to accommodate us, she was extremely friendly and professional. She took the time to tell us about the wines and treated us so well, even without a booked tour! The wines were amazing! We ended up purchasing 4 cases by the time we had left. If you have a chance to visit Bodega Kieninger, you should...
Read moreWe had an incredible tour with Sonia who escorted us through this beautiful, natural vineyard. We were so impressed with the pride and artisanship that goes into the making of this lovely, organic wine. We love how everything is done naturally and mostly by hand, which makes the experience more special and unique. We’ve been on many wine tours, but we’ve never had such an intimate and memorable experience. Everything was wonderful and Sonia enhanced our tour with her passion and enthusiasm for the land and winemaking process. Highly recommend this really refreshing experience. It’s so nice to see a more organic approach to winemaking versus the usual over processed methods. Definitely a treat and something...
Read moreThis is a beautiful way to spend a couple of hours if you are near Ronda. We were a party of 10 and were warmly welcomed by Araceli who walked us through the estate and told us the story of how this particular Bodega came to be. This was before serving us a perfect lunch to accompany our tasting session, outdoors and in the shade of a walnut tree with fantastic views. The wine was fantastic of course but the most memorable part of this visit was the realisation that this is truly a family business and a real labour of love, from the growing of the grapes to the naming and hand-labelling of the bottles. And all done with the utmost care for the surrounding...
