We had an incredible experience thanks to our winery tour guide, Raquel! From the moment the tour began, her passion for wine, deep knowledge of the region, and warm, engaging personality made the day unforgettable. Raquel struck the perfect balance between education and enjoyment—explaining everything from vineyard history and grape varieties to fermentation techniques and tasting notes, all in a way that was approachable and fun. She tailored the tour to our interests, answered all our questions with patience, and even gave us great local recommendations beyond the winery. What really stood out was her ability to create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. We never felt rushed, and Raquel’s genuine enthusiasm made the experience feel special. The pacing of the tour, the beautiful scenery, and the selection of wines were all thoughtfully chosen. Highly recommend booking a tour with Raquel if you're visiting the area—it truly elevated our entire...

We visited this winery in hopes of tasting a range of wines and learning about the process. Too much time was spent talking in poor English and very little time tasting. We paid A LOT to do this tour and were promised tapas and wines under an oak. After walking an hour in the heat while the few slices of cheese and sausage stewed in the hot environment indoors, we finallly got to taste a few centliters. Not their best wines, but very ordinary table wines. She promptly removed the wine glasses and bottles… we had to taste the two reds in the white wine glass and she snatched the chips and crackers from under our noses. We had thought about buying a bottle or two, but their card machine had not and was not working. Warning for this place. Nice atmosphere, but poor service. Oh, I forgot to say that she interrupted her LONG presentation with a...

A truly memorable experience at La Melonera. Raquel was an exceptional host, deeply knowledgeable and clearly passionate about both the craft of winemaking and the heritage of the region.

The tasting itself: one white and two reds, each thoughtfully paired with local olive oil, jamon and accompaniments that enhanced rather than distracted. The wines however spoke for themselves - complex yet balanced, and made all the more enjoyable by the stories behind what shaped them.

There was no sense of rush; on the contrary, we were welcomed with genuine warmth and encouraged to linger, to walk the grounds, and to appreciate the setting as much as the wine. It’s rare to find such a combination of hospitality, and authenticity.

Needless to say, a few bottles will be coming home with me. My sincere thanks for a wonderful afternoon! I look forward...

This was an absolutely stunning experience for me visiting La Melonera. Alejandro is truly passionate about what he does and shared a very interesting story about the wine region and the winery itself. He also provided many fascinating insights into cheese and jamón production, as well as the best spots to visit in Ronda. The place is so beautiful; it would be a perfect venue for a celebration or event if you consider one. Thank you so much for having me despite my late arrival.

We cannot rate this experience highly enough. We did the 12.30 winery experience (€30) - included 3 tastings, history of the winery and tour of the facilities. We also tasted delicious local produce including ham, bread and olive oil. All while admiring the most amazing view of the vineyards. Raquel was an amazing tour guide. So friendly and knowledgeable. We would recommend this to anyone visiting Ronda! It is a great way to spend an afternoon.
