We got in on discounted entry due to end of season and I think saved around 7 euros a person. It was 45 for 2 adults and 1 child. I'm glad we didn't pay full price as I feel it is too expensive. My child is just 110cm and many things he couldn't go on. Its not fair to charge the same as taller children like 130cm who can go on most/all rides. The park was clean but looked dated, needing a revamp/paint etc. Lots of loose tiles on the floors. Also lots of loose stones so walking around is not great and hurts, my son cut his foot twice because of rough/stones on floors. Also water looked very cloudy everywhere. Changing areas are bad, dirty, very old. 9 euro for sunbed/parasol which I think should be included in price. It was very quiet in the park and most empty but you still had to pay. What I can say that is good is that the life guards are very friendly, very aware of the children, always helping them, chatting, singing, playing with them. They made me feel like my child was being kept very safe which is so important to me. The kids pool was great but I do feel like children my sons age, 5, have little to keep occupied. The big slides are too big and they aren't allowed on, and the small kids pool slides were more for babies and toddlers. Food was good, OK price, maybe a little expensive. Again lockers you pay for, double float you pay for. Everything you pay for. On top of a high entry fee. This water park is not very big compared to others I have been to yet more expensive and more tired... The wave pool was AWFUL. Only comes on a few times a day (we didn't see advertised times anywhere so finally asked a life guard). The waves are very small and do not last long. Very boring even for my 5 year old.
My 5 year old had a great time but as adults we feel it is tired and over priced especially at full price. We would not...
Read moreThe park is good in terms of rides and layout. I will say that first because I have had to reduce the score for several reasons.
The life guards are absurdly over zealous. Some stand with the whistles in their mouths waiting for any reason to blow.
In the large pool I lifted my daughter out of the water when one guard blew a whistle, when I looked over she was shaking her finger.
Another guard whistled because a child was splashing lots whilst they were swimming! It was shockingly bad.
I am a full size adult and the area we were playing in was empty so I told the guard to leave me alone and carried on playing but kids were stopped from having fun.
The guards at the top of the rides were a little more relaxed and let some people take cameras down so it wasn’t all bad.
The other issue is the fact that since we last visited they have put nets up to stop you getting into the water except in some places.
This wouldn’t be too much of an issue because most people climbed over the barriers ignoring the whistles from the guards but I am disabled so walking is difficult, stepping over would be impossible, it meant to go from the beds I rented into the water I was next I had to walk around the pool I wanted to get in for quite a while.
So the guards cost a star, the nets cost a star and finally, the park opened at 11:30. We were waiting to get in and the guards opened the gates at exactly 11:30, the park closed at 19:30, at 19:00 everyone was forced out of the water, we were ushered out like cattle, it gave us no time to shower and dress because everyone, at the same time had to try to do the same.
We ended up having to change in the car park.
This was probably our 7th or 8th visit to the park and we won’t be back. There are other parks in the area that offer better value for money and let you have the fun...
Read moreWe visited today, and were pleasantly surprised. After reading all of the bad reviews I felt I had to leave one of my own. We went with 2 children age 4 & 8 and they both had a brilliant day! Was surprised at how much my 4 year old was allowed to do compared to other waterparks we have visited! Everyone complaining about the extra hire charges simply needs to read the website as it is all stated on there and we were very much aware before arriving. But looking at the likes of waterworld or the sancastle back home you pay pretty much the same prices but for only a couple of hours, and nowhere near as many attractions, whereas here we had all day, and so much to do. The park was pretty quiet for a Monday in the summer holidays, but they did have discounts advertised for later in the week so maybe everyone was waiting to get in cheaper? The layout of the loungers was brilliant, you have your own little personal space and we felt they were definitley worth paying for as people weren't all crammed in like in other parks, also the safe box attached to the parasol, what a brilliant idea! There was no running backwards and forwards to lockers for personal items! The park felt well staffed and really safe, there were lifeguards at the top and bottom of all slides and they were constantly watching! We arrived at 12.30 and left at 6.30 and the children would have loved to stay longer! We ordered a pizza and fries to share, the portions were huge and food was fresh. All in all a brilliant day out and would...
