Karting Salou — Attraction in Salou

I tried the karting yesterday 13th June 2024. Overall experience would have been a good one only for the transport that brings you to the track does not offer a return service into Salou.

There was at least 25 people waiting to return to salou & we were told that the complementary bus that brought us out to the track would not be bringing us back. There was a big scramble for taxi’s and the lady at reception had to call everyone cabs. She told us there was no public bus ( which is untrue ) There is a no 14 bus that stops outside the track & leaves you in centre of salou. I ended up getting on the bus as the taxis take ages to come. Some clarity definitely needs to be provided about the transport situation so people aren’t left stranded at the track.

Cost of the karts are a little on the expensive side, €21.50 for 8 mins. The karts are in good condition & the track is a nice...

Nice track and good services was there twice over 3 days boys wanted to go back a second time, first time went on the dual kart as my 10 year old wanted the bigger track with my older boy 15. The second time my younger fella wanted to go on his own so I went with him on jnr kart while my 15 year old went on the faster karts. I got stuck with a spluttering lawn mover while my 10 yr old lapped me which was disappointing. My older fella and I went on another run on the faster karts and after explaining that the jnr kart wasn’t running well we couldn’t get a discount for our last run. This is not good customer service and although the young lady was very pleasant she said there’s nothing she could do. It’s not as if the track was super busy as it was September. If you look after your customers they won’t be on here...

This place was so much fun. They have two race tracks: one for kids and one for adults. I was able to go with my 3 year old in a combo kart. He was able to steer the wheel and I had a second wheel to help. My second kid is 6 and she drove her own kart. She loved it!! The adult track had a great size and the older members of my party competed with one another. We could follow the races and the screen kept showing who was ahead and their times. They loved it too. The arcades, pool table and other games are a nice addition. We ended up the day ordering some hot dogs and hamburgers. My kids enjoyed them. plus beers and other drinks for us. The place follows all COVID 19 safety measures. My kids keep asking us to go back. We hope we will soon, since the place is also pretty affordable. Double thumbs up for...
