The beach is easy to find if you use Google Maps. Even at the end of September, when the season is almost over, parking near the beach itself is nearly impossible. That's why people use a parking lot located right next to the main road. There's always someone there before you reach the beach who will direct you to where you can park and where there are free spots. This more distant parking lot is large, free, and has plenty of spaces. The distance from the parking lot to the beach is about a kilometer and a bit, but the road is paved and in good condition. However, keep in mind that you'll need to walk that distance. Once you arrive at the beach, you'll be amazed by the incredible view. It's one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. The water is crystal clear and has a stunning color. There are many beautiful cliffs around the beach, perfect for jumping into the water, as well as other interesting places to explore, such as old houses and hiking trails. Please note that there are no toilets at Cala Des Moro. It's a wild beach with a wild atmosphere, but it's also very clean thanks to the frequent and thorough cleaning efforts of the local authorities. The beach itself is small and stony, so most people sit on the rocks around it. There are no bars or restaurants nearby. Be careful, because the rocks around the water are very slippery, so you need to...
Read moreOne of the most beautiful beaches i have visited. Worth visiting during your trip to Palma de Mallorca. It is a small bay and not very easy to access so if you have walking problems i would advise you not to go. If possible avoid weekends during the summer months as the beach is very crowded. You have to park your car a few kilometers ahead, on the side of the road for free and you will have to walk, i recommend wearing suitable shoes as you can walk for about 20-30 minutes. The path to the beach is really fantastic, make sure to take a hat and sunglasses too. I advise you to take everything with you as the beach has no bar, restaurant or toilet. Next to it you will pass through private properties which are inhabited and it is very important not to spoil their comfort. The day we went there there were police and media as the local residents were protesting against the occupation of the territory by tourists. The beach has little space to put an umbrella, the rest has quite large rocks. The water is crystal clear, and you can swim and dive as there are many beautiful fish. Next to it is the beautiful beach of S’almunia which is very beautiful and has rocks from which you can jump into the sea. Highly...
Read morePossibly the best cala on the entire island, this hidden gem offers truly breathtaking scenery and some of the most beautiful, crystal‑clear water in Mallorca. The beach itself is quite narrow, which means it gets crowded quickly, and securing a shady spot with an umbrella is nearly impossible unless you arrive early in the morning. The cala is completely wild — there are no bars, no amenities, no sunbeds, and no showers — so you’ll need to bring all your essentials with you. From the parking area, it’s about a 20‑minute walk to reach the start of an off‑road trail. The walk is manageable and pleasant, with only a short rocky section (just 5–6 steps) before the beach. A well‑trodden path has been formed by previous visitors, making the route safe and straightforward. Once you arrive, the rewards are immediate — stunning, transparent water that’s perfect for swimming and soaking in the surroundings. It’s a simple, natural cala where the sea and scenery do all the talking. Overall: This spot is absolutely worth visiting when in Mallorca. Its beauty, water quality, and unspoiled setting make it a standout, provided you’re prepared for the lack of facilities and the need to arrive early to...
