Fantastic place and definitely worth the visit. Reopened to the public in Dec2022, but ticket for 4€ must be bought in advance at the Tarifa Tourism office. The inside of the lighthouse seems to be recently renovated with a great exposition on the history and interesting facts and the tour is even guided by members of the tourism office. 100% worth the 4€!! The tour included a visit to the southern most point in mainland Europe. Es hat sich absolut gelohnt, die geführte Tour zu buchen ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Der Tourguide war sehr sympathisch und lustig und hat die Tour trotz sehr unterschiedlichen Nationalitäten klasse begleitet. Die Insel ist unglaublich interessant und größer als man erwartet. Es gibt vieles zu sehen und zu entdecken, auch wenn die Besucher den Hauptweg nicht verlassen sollen. Die Insel steht unter Naturschutz und man sollte schon darauf achten, auf dem Weg zu bleiben und die Pflanzen zu schonen. Absolut verständlich! Auf dem Weg zum Ausstellungscenter wird immer wieder ein Stopp eingelegt und etwas erklärt 👍🏻. Das Center selbst ist top modern und super informativ. Eigentlich müsste man hier mehr Zeit verbringen können. Es gibt viel zu lesen und zu sehen. Historisch spannend. Die Tour hat den südlichsten Punkt des europäischen Festlandes zum Ziel und auch hier gibt es kleine Geschichten und Infos zur Pflanzenwelt 👌🏻. Die Aussicht nach Marokko ist grandios und die Brandung an der Küstenlinie heftig. Man kann direkt vor der Insel Bojen sehen, die gesunkene Schiffe markieren. Ein super Tauchrevier. Der Leuchtturm ist im Super Zustand und hat eine interessante Historie. Die Windgeräusche am Turm sind krass. Die Tour geht etwas über eineinhalb Stunden für 4€ pro Person. Absolut okay. Eine Idee wäre auch, den Hauptweg einzuzäunen und Tafeln mit Erklärungen anzubringen. Dann 1-2€ Eintritt für das Center und somit außerhalb von geführten Touren die Touristen glücklich zu machen. Den südlichsten Punkt könnte man auch extra vermarkten. Diese Variante wäre eigentlich auch voll in Ordnung und lohnenswert. Fazit: eine schöne Tour an unserem letzten von 7...

It's totally fine to regulate entry and the prices for the tour aren't that high. The way they organise the ticket sale is one thing, only via the tourist information isn't that practical, not that many helpful information online, no schedule visible etc.. But the main thing is the amount of tours they offer. We asked at Wednesday early morning for a tour, mind you in July, main season, answer: next tour on Friday.
