Be careful!! Not suitable for people who have high phobia!! The road too narrow and dangerous for driving up.. be prepared before you go. We didn’t know it’s like this and we managed to drive up but can’t drive down because our driver has high phobia (you know if people they has this condition it’s not fear of high.. it’s a phobia that they will jump down and shaking, loosing body control)we has ask the officer there to help us to drive down but they said the can’t.. they even don’t know what is high phobia. But luckily we found someone who kind and helped us driving down the hill with safety. Just would like to advise that if you didn’t drive pretty good or has high phobia you should park down the hill and walking up. By the way view is amazing...

I remembered the views from Faro de la Entallada being incredible, but I somehow forgot the road leading up there is basically a cliffside anxiety simulator. This time, I was driving a much bigger car with my parents and kids onboard. Not a single sound in the car. No music, no chatting, just the collective silence of people questioning their life choices. The road wound tighter than my nerves, with zero space for even a nervous dance move. When we finally made it to the top, the views were epic but the real highlight was everyone’s pale faces and their shaky compliments: “We’re just… really glad you were driving.” I haven't laughed that...

Took 65 minutes from Lajares to the lighthouse but the route taken went through some fantastic scenery. The final 2.5 km is not as bad as some folk suggest, the road is tarmac all the way, yes it is single track in a lot of places but if you drive carefully and look ahead you will see vehicles coming from the top at a lot of places on the road. Today it was hot, hardly a cloud in the sky and not a lot of wind. The view was simply outstanding just look at the photos, we stayed around 30 minutes then headed back, a decent trip...
