Malaga-outdoor — Attraction in Viñuela

Looking for a spot of sailing, Kayak or messing about on the water. Took the wife and kids kayaking for the first time. All equipment is provided and life jackets so for not very strong / confident swimmers a relief. The staff gave a quick instruction before sending you on your way. Even on a day in the high 30’s a cooling breeze across the lake helped make the experience even more enjoyable. We had double kayaks. The kids enjoyed it some much went back a couple of days later and had single kayaks as kids wanted to be more independent and in control. Take a couple of plastic bottles of water with you to take out on the kayaks and flip flops to cross the landing area to the kayaks, travel light as no lockers to stow stuff in whilst out...

Really friendly and helpful people who run this place. Relaxed and very knowledgeable! The ride down to the lake in the Land Rover alone is an event! The lake itself is great, warm water, picturesque and lots of wildlife around. Kids loved kayaks, paddleboards and pedalo with slides! Excellent!! They were extremely accomodating and very patient with us (very inexperienced water people). Even when one of our kids broke in tears and wanted to get off the kayak, they kindly stayed around with her whilst we kept rowing a bit longer.
