A bit out of the way, but worth 30 minutes if you are in the area. Here are some tips - please like if they are of use to you :) Parking - As you approach slow down, the off road parking is rough ground opposite the lagoon. Choose a place to exit to road with care as there's a steep drop in places. If there's no spaces, wait 5 minutes and someone will move.
There's no other facilities, like toilets, seats or shops so take a drink.
It's a shingle beach around the lagoon and to the sea. Take firm shoes. This is not a place for less able or less mobile people.

Read moreGreen Lake is as main attraction but worth of mention is fantastic , unrealistic fields of lava with it's deep black , sometimes grey or deep brown colours. Opposite sea and beach you may see perfect in shape vulcan. Beautiful colours of it nature wonder is very appreciated especially in low sun position. If you walk a little bit further Green Lake you will see curiosity of lava rocks sunk in the sea with big waves hitting every few seconds. Surfing or just laying on the beach is also possible as observation some wild bird in the Green Lake together with much more quantity...
Read moreVisited the "Green Lake" but, to be honest, struggled to find it at first. Parked up across the road from where the sat nav said it was (pretty sure it was the right place judging by the number of people parked there), crossed over and saw a "large puddle" that was separate from the sea.
Thought "that can't be it" so chambered over the rocks in pursuit of the mysterious Green Lake. Nope, nothing else to be found apart from the sea so Lago Verde is indeed just a "large puddle".
