I recently had the pleasure of visiting Spooner Summit Snow Play Area, and I must say, it was an exhilarating experience for the entire family! If you're looking for a fun day out in the snow, this place definitely delivers.

First off, parking can be a bit of a hassle if you arrive after noon, so I recommend getting there early to secure a good spot. Once you’re parked and ready to go, you’ll notice that the park itself is spacious enough to accommodate everyone, ensuring that it doesn’t feel overcrowded even on busy days.

The walk up to the hill can be a bit long and tiring, especially if you're hauling your tubes, but trust me, it’s worth every step. The thrill of zooming down the hill makes the trek feel like a small price to pay for the fun that awaits!

One important tip: bring your own tubes! The park does not provide them, and while you might see some folks sledding, having your own tube can enhance the experience. Also, don’t forget to pack some foldable chairs, snacks, and drinks (wink wink). There’s plenty of space to set up a cozy picnic area where you can recharge between sessions of tubing.

What I loved most about Spooner Summit Snow Play Area is how family-friendly it is. My kids had an absolute blast, and I can confidently say we will be returning for more snowy adventures. I highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a fantastic tubing experience—it's the perfect spot for kids and adults alike! Grab your gear, and enjoy a day filled with laughter and fun...

I came at 11:30am -12:00pm. Parking isn’t great only because you have so many people coming in and out. I gave this place two stars because safety was an issue. I saw sledders wipe out kids just standing on the side or their parents are trying to help them. But no on is clearing the way for sledders. You would think there would some organization, but it was chaotic. You’d have to use your own judgement as to when to go down the hill, but many are not clearing the way. The hills are great to go sledding on. It’s just chaotic and after seeing several people get taken down by sledders, it wasn’t worth it. Probably better to go when...

Lovely Place to Experience Sledding either for the First Time or with Family! Just be Mindful and Cautious for any Sledders Coming Down as Potential Injuries May Be Severe. Always Walk on the Side and Never in the Center. For Sledders, the terrain contains Bumps so be Prepared to Expect Small to Mild Impact. Parking and Driving Spaces may be Limited due to...

Very busy on 12/30. Parking very difficult. It had gotten a small amount of snow the day before but was mostly ice, packed hard. No supervision and lots of bumps coming down the hill, so it can be dangerous. My oldest (10) loved it, my risk averse middle (8) did NOT.
