A cascading waterfall made up of a few smaller individual falls. You can reach here by simply following the road that leads upto the nanuoya falls - there you come across a second bridge that is the lowest segment of the waterfall. If going by car, continue onward till you pass the rail crossing. You can leave the car on the small ground just below the local ko il and continue via rail tracks to wards the falls. There you will find another individual segment just below the rail bridge. There is an upper waterfall you can reach either by Traversing through the tea plantation (no proper route) or you can continue onto the next rail bridge over nanuoya falls :here just before the bridge there is a path leading to the left, and after negotiating a goodly climb you will be on a estate path leading right upto the falls. Perfect for a day of exploring and trekking. Be on the look out for oncoming trains as you take the railroad - always ask the locals for help and regarding times the trains are due. Read moreWe went there in December 2024. The falls were beautiful and loved the surrounding. The water was freezing. The google maps might confuse you about the route to reach there. So better ask from a person from the village. There’s quite a lot to walk to reach the falls if you go by the google maps route and walk through the road which would be starting from the main road of nanu oya. But the route from nanu oya railway station is much closer and easier, (keeping track about the trains passing!! )

This waterfall was so unique and so so soooo beautiful. We didn’t buy any tickets. We went close by for a better view. Was sad to see how people have left bottles, wrappers , even hair (felt so weird about that though) all over the place.
Please don’t destroy and pollute the environment.
