We went to this beach and wanted to just take a walk as we had just arrived.
We was followed by a man who wouldn’t leave us alone kept trying to get us to go to his turtle hatchery (which there are loads of unethical ones around that claim to be ethical - please avoid)
He followed us for nearly 1.5 hours, other men joined every now and then, talking amongst themselves and then constantly trying to get us to buy things and asking where we were staying. After a final stern no, he got angry when we said no and stormed off.
He crossed the road and went into a shop, only to come back out and follow us.
Thankfully two little dogs came running over to us for attention so he had to take over and we could wait until he was far in the distance.
It felt extremely unsafe, and he really made us want to never recommend the whole area of Kosgoda - in fact we would actively encourage people to avoid it.
It’s a shame because it looked like it was going to be a beautiful sunset on the beach that we really wanted to watch whilst not...
