Amazing place with the most beautiful pieces of wood art ever. You will find some gorgeous crafts with the best quality. There is a huge variety to choose. You can watch the making process. Everything is so unique. They also pack it safely so nothing won’t get damaged during the flight. You can also ask for sending the big items. We really enjoyed this place. Even just being there was a great experience. We have been able to take our time with no pressure to buy anything, so it was very nice. We have taken beautiful crafts anyway. But next time we will take even more, cause it was that beautiful. Beautiful it’s one thing but po I have to mention the quality, you won’t get it in any other place. Sunflower Arts & Crafts is an amazing place to buy local Wooden souvenirs. It is locate Bentota. You can see their workshop and take a look at all the different products like Buddha's status,Elephants and other religious carvings. Owners son is helpful and you can tell your desires and acording to that you can change what you bought but always he advised what is best for that. They Pack items very carefully and safely. Price are middle scale. But I can guarantee it is reasonable in the area and you can't find something creative like there. Excellent selection of handmade wood, granite , leather artefacts and curios. Perhaps one of the best collection of Elephants in all shapes and sizes , made from wood and stone with intricate carvings. They also house a small selection of Sandalwood carvings which are beautiful . The prices are reasonable and the service is personalised and not at all pushy. Mr Perera and his family have been in the business for almost 50 years and their knowledge and passion shines through.
