A very valuable information and knowledge gained by visiting this Museum. We could see the development of Railways in Sweden. There is a 3D show. Right from conventional steam engines till the present bullet trains, we can experience the travel, as if we are sitting in the engines, like steam engines, electric engines and the present bullet engines. Ancient Postal department in a station is displayed. Live models of locomotives and how the operations, like construction tents, carrying the coal and other materials are conducted and different kinds of trains were displayed. One can see right from the beginning how Railways coped up their race with horse drawn carriages and other means of transport.
This place is wheel chair ♿️ accessible. There are toilets 🚻 available. Display of souvenirs and a coffee shop is there. Outside the museum there is a mini track and a small ride for children. There is a Children play area and a few displays related...
Read moreVisiting this museum is certainly a very nice way to spend a few hours. The place is super clean, nice and child friendly, if you happen to like trains too, it's even better. The cafeteria is pretty well supplied, can recommend the cannelbullar (the spelling is my best guess). The parking is free, and it's super close to Angelholm city center, so you can combine a visit in this nice little town to the train museum and maybe why not a walk in the forest or along the river. Highly recommended
Update: came over to see the Christmas setup. Not very different from the usual, but still very...

I asked to get my money back, a museum visit like that isn't fun at all - at least not for me. My boyfriend was more patient and told me it's an fantastic museum with beautiful films from the old times, so I suppose it's best to ignore the annoying QRcodes at the beginning and just watch...
