unexpectedly large. The gardens are beautiful, everything is beautifully landscaped and mowed. Every piece of the garden has a different feel. most of the vegetation has a description of what kind of tree or flower it is, and everywhere there are plenty of benches where you can sit if you are in a couple. there is also a seating area before the entrance and the possibility of refreshments or an ice cream stand right next to the children's climbing frames and swings. Which unfortunately I didn't take pictures of (children were playing there and you know what it's like when a foreign man starts filming children on the playground 😀) otherwise the gardens are really beautiful and it's a shame that they are not completely open to the public and are in Private . The gardens were not as big as I thought they would be so that was really nice because you could go as fast or slow as you wanted to enjoy the gardens without feeling like you were going to miss a section. When walking by you could see the summer house and take a sneak peak of the tennis court. There was a ghost animal garden section which was very interesting to walk through. It had white little sculptures of animals. The gift shop was very nice! I got a book and some post cards. It is also very nicely spread out in different categories which you could see from a far and this way made it easier for you to decide where you would like to...
Read moreI was here at these beautiful royal gardens on Princess Victoria's birthday. It was Wonderful. I would say, this palace is wonderful to visit any time of the year but especially on Princess Victoria's birthday.
The music, the celebrations, were absolutely Amazing, and of course, catching a view of the royal family, especially of Princess Victoria. Absolutely Wonderful.
The best advice I can give is to get here early and buy the tickets before you arrive, if possible.
This place gets really packed with people but it's worth it for such a grand...
