Working steam machinery on an actual preserved factory floor from the industrial revolution. Also has a large kids section, a café, and a very accomplished section on Eskilstuna's history in weapons manufacturing, amongst other things. Well worth a visit if you find yourself in Eskilstuna. And if for nothing else then the serene surroundings of the little island the museum is placed on is plenty of reason to go, and its proximity to the Eskiltuna Ölkultur café. This island used to house a castle, something you can also discover more about in the museum.
