Amazing place. So many scenic areas. Super fun to explore. This year's colour is hot pink om the famous statue's nose.
Swimming is a no go as the waves are extremely strong and the rocks are rounded and slippery with seaweed. There are however a ton of fossils here for the avid history hunter to enjoy and look for at the rocks.
When we were here, winds were gusting like crazy. Recommended to bring a sweater if you are to explore the cliffs and caves here for more than 20minutes as it will get quite gusty and cold.
Bonus: on the coast if you are lucky, you will also encounter a small flock of the famous Gotland sheep wandering about. They are friendly and want comfy scratches. Just beware of the poop and...

The thing you came for was the so called "gubbe" but that is, in my modest opinion, only the tip of the iceberg for this place. Walk past the boring old stone man and what you'll find is some breathtaking nature and dramatic and dare i say artistically romantic views. Take an hour or two and wander past the tourist attraction and experience the greatness of big mountain and big water.

There is plenty of parking space. I have gone here both with bike and car. We usually have a picknick and end with ice cream. We let the kids run free and throw rocks in the ocean.
