Blekinge Museum holds an excellent collection of archaeological finds from all over Blekinge, and their exhibitions showcase the development of the county from prehistory up to the present day. Furthermore, Grevagården, the former residence of the governor of Blekinge, Admiral-General Hans Wachtmeister, contains exhibits from Karlskrona, dating from the 17th century onwards and holds entire furnished rooms from different time periods.
