Hotell Aston — Hotel in Karlskrona kommun

This place has the perfect location, in the middle of the city. My husband and I were surprised to find out a Donner is included in the price, along with breakfast! The dinner was a delicious soup and some bread. Breakfast had your normal breakfast things with bacon, eggs, bread, ham and cheese as well as cereal. Very nice :) the beds were comfy, maybe a bit too soft but I slept really well! The showers are simple othing fancy but gets the job done:) my only complaint is that the hallway doors slam way too much! I woke up too many times, and too early, die to slamming of the doors...maybe have a sign on the door to let guests know that they slam when closing? I came for a 3 night stay. The room is particularly small and the bathroom is poorly constructed. It is impossible to take a shower without flooding the whole floor up to the toilet, there is literary a 1-2cm deep waterlayer in the whole of the bathroom. The shower needs a few minutes to warm up. Poor housekeeping! The toilet tissue wasn't refilled, only the bed was poorly made(the sheets were partly pulled off the mattress) and nothing was in order, the wet towel on the floor stayed there exactly as it was and was not replaced. I stayed with my mum and sister this weekend and we have to mention the amazing guy in the reception. My mum is handicapped and he was very forthcoming, service minded and friendly. Because my mum can’t go out much we enjoyed the common area where they have fruit, cake, beverages and games available all day. A short walk from the Hotell they also have fitness, pool and sauna facilities. We enjoyed the hotel breakfast and ate so much we hardly could eat rest of day. Very central location with anything you need just outside and yet five min from me...
