A small “zoo” especially for elks or moose. I was travelling in Norway and Sweden and hadn’t seen an elk, so this was my chance of a guaranteed sighting of the elk, including a mother and two baby elk. SEK140 was well worth paying to protect these beautiful creatures and there also a great gift shop with the most friendly prices I have seen in the last two months. If you’re travelling by camper you can stay the night across the road with water and WC...
Read moreGood information about moose and other wildlife, about hunting and the history of Sweden. The moose themselves were lying around together in a pack and as it’s spring their horns were only just starting to grow. They’re all young and also because they were lying around you couldn’t appreciate the size of them. It’s expensive for what it is - done it once, wouldn’t do it again- I’m sure there are better places around - which is worth...
If you're interested in environmental protection or a elk fan you shouldn't visit this park. Its more about elk hunting as about information about those magnificent animals. The cage is really small where the elks are staying most of the time. It rather resembles a traffic area then a nice place. Nothing there for small children, directly next to the autobahn. Elks seemed to be rather stressed than relaxed. We can definitely not recommend this place! Please watch out for parks that are more interested in animal care than in...
