Just be aware that the "headwaters" are a couple of large and very exposed industrial drain pipes. Also beware: the advisory about cattle grazing and pooping on the trail does not do justice to the sheer quantity of manure you start to encounter after the first maybe 0.1 km - if there was any good scenery beyond there, I couldn't see it because figuring out where I could put my foot down next took all my concentration. The alternative to continue was a path that cut through several stands of shrubs that had grown across the path to meet in the middle.
